Senior Policy Associate – AI, J-PAL Global

Attaullah Abbasi is a Senior Policy Associate – AI at J-PAL Global, where he works on advancing evidence-informed policymaking around artificial intelligence. At J-PAL, he supports efforts to maximize AI’s social benefits while assessing potential risks and unintended consequences, and he works with governments, NGOs, academics, and technology firms on AI policy and evidence use. He is also part of Project AI Evidence (PAIE), an initiative focused on building practical tools and research guidance for evaluating AI-enabled programs and interventions.
